I really like making boxes! They are fun and challenging to make. One also gets the opportunity to work with many kinds of wood including many of the imported exotics. Joinery can be as simple or as sophisticated as one wants to make it and the finishes available are almost unlimited . Boxes are the mainstay of my woodworking business and I make, on the average, 75 to 100 boxes a year. I've tried to show only those boxes which are in stock and for sale which means some many of my favorites aren't here. Maybe that's a subject for a future page. |
